This App incorporates the most important features of JDate’s full site, allowing members to browse profiles, check their inboxes, send emails and date on-the-go! All images, text and buttons are optimized for display on an iPhone, which means no more pinching and zooming to navigate, or searching for the send button on an email.
What do I need to do to access the JDate iPhone App on my iPhone?

First, you will need an iPhone with data access capabilities.

Second, install the iPhone App by clicking on the button above that says, "Available on the App Store."

Third, if you are not already a registered member you will need to create an account. Don’t worry; registering is quick and simple. Just go to www.jdate.com or if you’re on your smart phone, go to m.jdate.com/home.

What is data access?
While all mobile phone service packages allow you to talk, and most allow you to send text or SMS messages, not all allow you to access the internet through your phone. Data access, which allows you to use the internet, is typically an add-on to your mobile phone service package. You will need data access on your iPhone in order to download and run the JDate iPhone App.

You may be experiencing poor reception in your area, which delays communication between your mobile device and our servers.

I’m having trouble accessing the mobile-optimized site from my smart phone. When I type www.jdate.com into my phone’s browser I keep getting directed to the full site. How do I get to the mobile-optimized site?

We try to make it convenient for our mobile users to find our mobile experience without having to remember any mobile-specific URL’s. When you type in www.jdate.com you should be redirected to the mobile-optimized JDate experience. As an alternative, you can always type m.jdate.com/home into your browser as well.

If you have issues with getting redirected to the mobile experience, please check your mobile device to ensure the following:

  1. Cookies are enabled on your browser
  2. Your wireless signal strength and connection are available

If that doesn’t work, clearing your browser’s cache and/or clearing your browser’s cookies can also help fix redirection issues.
